Meet Jaylene, Our Client Executive

Let’s meet your Peak Cashflow team.

At Peak Cashflow, our people are at the heart of what we do. We believe that great client service starts with a dedicated and motivated team.

Meet Jaylene Simpson, she’s one of our Client Executives. From managing funding requests to building strong client relationships, we’ve asked Jaylene a few question to get to know her better and find out what she enjoys about her job.

What is your role?

I’m a Client Executive at Peak Cashflow.

What does a typical day look like for you?
My day usually starts by responding to client emails or calls, followed by processing drawdowns or funding requests. I also manage payment allocations and reconcile client ledgers to ensure accuracy. Another important part of my day is posting invoice and credit note batches, keeping everything up to date.

What are your responsibilities?
I’m responsible for preparing month-end reports and account summaries, managing client relationships, and ensuring that client ledgers are consistently accurate and up to date – it’s a mix of financial oversight and ongoing communication.

What are your personal objectives?
My personal goal is to continue growing and learning within the industry. I’m fairly new to this field, but I’m really enjoying the challenges and the steep learning curve that comes with it.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love the variety of our clients, which range from recruitment agencies to sweet manufacturers. Seeing such a diverse cross-section of the UK’s SME economy is great. No two days are the same, and I learn something new every day.

What motivates you at work?
I’m driven by the opportunity to learn and build my career. I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills and take on new challenges, so that sense of growth and progress really motivates me.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I love most is that no two days are ever the same. There’s always something that needs to be done, some tasks more urgent than others, and that constant activity keeps me engaged. I enjoy being busy and solving problems as they arise.

How would you describe yourself as an individual?
I’m someone who’s naturally curious and enjoys exploring new ideas. I’m also a calm and balanced person who always tries to see the brighter side of situations. I make a point of looking for the good in people, and that mindset helps in both personal and professional settings.

In 3 words – sum up your job…..
Variable, Challenging & Rewarding.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I wouldn’t say I have any hidden talents, but I do enjoy playing in a social netball league. Most of my free time, though, is spent being my children’s biggest supporter whether it’s at the stables, on the football pitch, or cheering them on at the netball court.

What’s one thing you’re really bad at?
Definitely singing and dancing.

What’s one thing you’re good at?
I’d say I’m a good listener  and I also love to talk! That combination really helps me build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
