Strengthening The Future of Peak Cashflow

Independent EOT Director Jay Boyce Visits Peak Cashflow

At Peak Cashflow, our people have always been at the heart of everything we do. That’s why becoming an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) in 2024 was such a significant milestone for us – one that reinforces our commitment to transparency, long-term stability, and client-first decision making.

As part of our ongoing dedication to supporting our employee-owners, we recently welcomed Jay Boyce, the Independent Director of our EOT Board, to our Macclesfield office for an open Q&A session with the Peak team.

Why an Independent Director Matters

Being uniquely structured within the invoice finance market, each one of our team members holds a beneficial interest in our business through the EOT, so it’s important that our ownership structure is supported by strong, impartial guidance.

Jay’s role as Independent Director is to:

• Ensure all decisions are made in the long-term interests of our employee beneficiaries

• Uphold fairness, transparency and integrity across all board discussions

• Provide clarity and education around how the EOT operates day to day

• Support staff in fully understanding the benefits of being part of an employee-owned business

With decades of experience as a tax adviser and qualified corporate financier and formerly a tax partner at national accountancy firm MHA, Jay brought a wealth of expertise to the discussion with our team.

The session was an opportunity for our team to ask questions, understand more about their role as employee-owners, and explore how the EOT helps shape the long-term future of Peak.

It was fantastic to see how engaged the team were, reflecting not only their enthusiasm but also the pride they take in helping clients across the UK access flexible, independent cashflow solutions.

A Future Built on Stability, Independence & Shared Success

At Peak Cashflow we are proud of what we’ve built over the last 19.5 years – it’s a reputation for fairness, independence, and delivering the highest levels of service in invoice finance, factoring, invoice discounting, trade finance, and outsourced credit control.

With the transition to employee ownership, we’ve strengthened that foundation even further with our EOT structure that ensures:

Long-term business stability

• Continuity of service for our clients

• A motivated, invested team

• A unique position in the market as an independently owned invoice finance provider

We’re grateful to Jay for his time, insights, and continued support and we are very much looking forward to welcoming him back again soon.

Strengthening Our Future

At Peak, employee ownership isn’t just a structure; it’s a commitment to shared success — for our team, for our business, and for every client we support.
